Buttefly Lands in Maine

Our little film that could BUTTERLY is getting a bit of play. We will be showing at the Image Gazer Film Festival in Maine this June. I am going with Edward, the writer/director and hopefully a few other peeps from the film. It has been a long uphill battle. Everytime we show the film we get feedback that it is really amazing. But it is really dark, and that makes it hard to sell. It also creates a space for people to think about their own actions, what is right and wrong in their worlds and in the world at large. And whether or not they have a responsibility to do something about it. It is always difficult to find the right home for a smart film. I am really hoping the east coast will get it. When we return we will be doing midnights at the Lamelle Sunset 5 for June-July-August. Beautiful Deadly

We had thought about renaming Sibling Rivalry "Beautiful Deadly" based on the feedback from our distributor that we need a more "horror sounding" title. What do you think? Since Jade Kelley, our lead actress (and my lovely departed cousin) was nominated for a Best Actress in a Leading Role at a film festival in Texas (Under the name SIBLING RIVALRY) I think we should keep the title in her memory. I would love some feedback.
