Buttefly Lands in Maine
Our little film that could BUTTERLY is getting a bit of play. We will be showing at the Image Gazer Film Festival in Maine this June. I am going with Edward, the writer/director and hopefully a few other peeps from the film. It has been a long uphill battle. Everytime we show the film we get feedback that it is really amazing. But it is really dark, and that makes it hard to sell. It also creates a space for people to think about their own actions, what is right and wrong in their worlds and in the world at large. And whether or not they have a responsibility to do something about it. It is always difficult to find the right home for a smart film. I am really hoping the east coast will get it. When we return we will be doing midnights at the Lamelle Sunset 5 for June-July-August. The new postcards are wonderful thanks to Johnny Olsen photography and Paolina Amadio design. www.blankpageentertainment.com

I cross my fingers for it! And if the film isn't make it in the States, than bring it to Europe - people here adore such kind of films ;-)
ReplyDelete(hm, but asians are loving freaky, creepy stuff, too....well, try it there as well)
Yeah, I know - easier to say than to make, BUT there are everywhere ways - no risk no fun....
