Butterfly and the Fear Fiesta

So we will be showing our dark, provocative film, BUTTERFLY, at the Fear Fiesta on Halloween at 2:00 in the afternoon.    (Casa 0101 Theater located at 2009 East First Street, LA 9003)
It will be interesting to see the response from an open audience. We thought we were going to be showing at SAG this week as part of the conservatory shows.  However, SAG declared the film too sexually provocative and said it was too salacious for their memebers. Crazy, given the night prior to when we were supposed to screen, the film Ashes (same writer as Butterfly) will show a people turned into murderous, flesh eating monsters. Which personally I find much more offensive than asking people to pose the question of morality and where responsiblity lies, and what if anything would You do, if you were the victim? But then again, if you look too closely, even an insect can be monsterous.
