My brother, the writer

I know that I am really biased, he is after all my brother, but I think Edward E. Romero is going to become one of the most influential filmmakers of his time. A modern day Lynch (mixed with a little Polanski and a touch of Tarantino - the small part that is original) so to speak. His latest script, BUTTERFLY, won the Best Horror Feature award at Shreikfest, held at Raleigh Studios this weekend. Although I was not a fan of the style it was shot in, (way too much hand held that was nauseously shaky) I found the dialogue Edward wrote to be funny and pertinent. His script LULLABY which was optioned last year, is quite brilliant, and a finalist in a recent genre competition. And his latest film BUTTERFLY (his Directorial Debut), produced by Blank Page Entertainment, premieres this coming week at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater in Hollywood. Watch for him. I am telling you. He is going to be HUGE !
